Katsina: "Super Sisters" Association Celebrates it's Ten Years Anniversary

A Katsina State based Union call "Super Sisters" has celebrates it's ten years anniversary since it's establishement in 2013.

The Association which headquarter based at Dandagoro resident of Katsina State was form on 29th of November 2013 starting with a few number of people which are majority Yoruba before transforming it activities to a large variety of people irrespective of tribes, culture or religious differences.

When speaking with Secretary of the Union, Rashidat Aliyu disclose to Katsina Times Reporter, Sulaiman Umar that "today we are celebrating our 10th anniversary, though it has pass but we are celebrating it with good health and prosperity, we where seven in number as we started until now that we are many." She said.

The secretary emphasize on the mission of the great association where she added that "this association is all about progress, we are all sisters of each other and we contributed to support each other as one, if someone need help we assist not only among us but even among other people that are not members of the association so that we have their support and positive perspective in the society." Rashidat said.

KATSINA TIMES also discuss with the Chair-Lady Mrs Hajiya Zinat Abdullahi where she highlight some of the challenges the association overcome where she said "of course we encountered so many challenges because to gather people like this is not easy, people have different understanding, so someone may like what someone does not like, and again you may say something then someone give it different perspective." Zinat Said.

Further more, the Cheap Wheap of the association Mrs Hadiza Ibrahim also added that: "you can see our motor 'Togetherness and Progress' we are together for the progress of our members and for other people in the town, because we help people who are in need that we can help, and we also educate our selves on the importance of cleanliness in other to maintain good hygiene especially in our houses." She said.

The association also seek Katsina State Government support in other to collaborate to bring an end to many challenges especially among womens in the state.

At the event, many members of the association which include young and elderly women's express happiness and gratitude to the Almighty Allah as the Union mark it's 10th anniversary.
